The #FollowMeToKadooment Competition is our most ambitious project to date. For Crop Over 2016 a lucky person can win (and win big) with Bazodee Magazine! We're offering a winner and a guest of his or her choice the opportunity to have the experience of a lifetime, with a winner takes all competition. Bazodee will be bringing two people to Barbados to experience our largest national festival, the sweetest summer festival, the one and only, Crop Over. Winners will receive two tickets to the most easterly Caribbean island where the merriment and festivities will begin.
For starters, winners will be staying at a luxurious four-star premium resort, nestled on the serene South Coast of Barbados. Along with gorgeous sea views and top-class transportation service, they will be treated to custom care packages with sponsor goodies from Mount Gay, the iconic rum that invented rum, and iLoveCropOver souvenir flasks for those sweet sweet memories of their time at the Sweetest Summer Festival. All of this does not even include the spectacular assortment of events lined up - a premium breakfast cruise with raving reviews, the cooler party with vibes on top of vibes, a j'ouvert experience that promises to be like no other, get the rum flowing and the vibes jumping on one of the most anticipated boat parties for the season, Foreday Morning full of paint and mud with the hottest Foreday band in Barbados, a spectacular uber all-inclusive that gets better each year, the most delectable Bajan breakfast party you can find, a Machel Montano concert that everyone will love and on the road for Kadooment Day with the newest premium band. To top it all off, the winner and guest get entry to the freshest after-party to end all Crop Over after parties, the new unofficial end of the festival. What's not to love?
The winner and his or her guest will be immersed in the culture, history and music of this historic, one-of-a-kind festival, which traces its origins to centuries ago. Barbados' Crop Over Festival is unique in the region, being far more than just a carnival, but a complete summer festival, which is steeped in tradition and gives the best insight to Barbadian culture. With a list of cultural Crop Over events outside of fetes, tasty Barbadian cuisine, our own soca and calypso music, world class beaches and warm welcoming people, this is one festival that you don't want to miss.

The competition ended on Sunday, July 3rd 2016 at 11:59 p.m. (AST). The Bazodee team reviewed all entries and the winner, who is deemed to have the most creative video, will be announced on Sunday, July 10th 2016 on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Below are our ten #bazoFAVS video entries.

And the winner is...
The winner (Renee Whitney) and her guest (Niles Koski) arrived in Barbados, from their hometown Toronto during the Crop Over Las’ Lap period, to a warm Barbadian, Crop Over-centric welcome at the Grantley Adams International Airport put on by Bazodee and the partners in the #FollowMeToKadooment competition. Entertainment by way of an energetic Tuk Band, an acrobatic Shaggy Bear and a vivacious Mother Sally was graciously provided by Front Page Entertainment.
